This module shed a light for me on mental well-being more so than the other chapters. Watching the FAT City video reminded me of how even if you a person doesn't have exceptional needs, they can find themselves feeling anxious just by the instructional approach of the educator.
Secondly, I think I haven't quite given mental illness the same level of attention as other exceptionalities because it can go unnoticed.

I will apply what I've learned in this module by:
- trying out particular strategies for dyslexia with one of my students, who I've noticed has some of the signs of a learning disability
- collaborate with my future team teacher and discuss what SEL program we would like to use for next year and learn about it so I can implement it. I currently use Zones of Regulations but on a fairly superficial level.
- share some of the strategies I've learned in report cards "ways to support at school and home" section
- create an infographic with a student with self-monitoring strategies for when the student gets anxious during tasks the student might find frustrating
Questions I Still Have
- none at the moment
